KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, 26 May 2016 – Galderma partnered with doctors to provide Malaysians natural-looking results from Restylane® fillers and Restylane Skinboosters™ through its Proof in Real Life global campaign – an initiative that aims to build trust in aesthetic treatments by demonstrating natural-looking results of Restylane in real life.
The global campaign which was previously launched in Berlin, Germany by celebrity, Sharon Stone saw 10 pairs of identical twins who took part in a unique challenge. One twin from each pair received a personalised treatment plan which consisted of treatments with Restylane® fillers and Restylane Skinboosters™, or a combination of both. Those present had the rare opportunity to witness the before-and-after results in real life.
Present at the Malaysian unveiling of the campaign recently, was Dr Hyoung Jin Moon, President of Navi Plastic Surgery Clinic and Korean Facial Plastic Surgeon Association and Clinical Professor at Yonsei University Medical College, Korea, where he delivered an informative session to understand how natural-looking results can be achieved with Restylane.
“The desire to look young and attractive is a growing phenomenon globally and the search for the elixir of youth continues on today. As cosmetic and plastic surgery increasingly become an accepted norm, dermatologists and aestheticians would agree on these three pillars vital in the delivery of a treatment – good material, a good injection instrument and a good physician to deliver the product,” shared Dr Hyoung, who co-authored the official textbooks of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS).
Dr Hyoung further broached, “Customers need to be aware of safe and genuine treatments available and make informed decisions. As a plastic surgeon and researcher, I resonate strongly with the science meets beauty innovation encapsulated in Restylane.”
“The growing interest and appreciation for aesthetics in this multi-cultural society is remarkable and we certainly look forward to providing innovative medical solutions to meet the dermatological needs of people throughout their lifetime while serving healthcare professionals,” said Wong Wai Fun, Business Unit Head, Prescription and Aesthetic & Corrective, Galderma.
Proven results of Restylane to demonstrate natural-looking results subtly as witnessed in the Proof In Real Life campaign is a testament of Galderma’s longstanding, innovative medical solutions that has won the trust of countless around the globe.
The campaign successfully demonstrated that aesthetic treatments can enhance one’s natural looks and diminished worries or fears of extreme and artificial makeovers.
Derived from non-animal origin, Restylane is made from hyaluronic acid (HA), a compound that is naturally present in the human body and depletes with age. The Proof in Real Life campaign aims to prove that aesthetic treatments can enhance your natural looks by demonstrating the results of Restylane® fillers and Restylane Skinboosters™ in real life. Restylane products use a component found in the skin called hyaluronic acid and Galderma uses a unique technology to incorporate this ingredient – meaning, it differs only slightly from your skin’s own natural hyaluronic acid – for safe and natural-looking aesthetic treatments.
Present at the recent event were key industry speakers such as Dr Hew Yin Keat, President of The Malaysian Society of Aesthetic Medicine, Dr Karen Po Chen Hui, Aesthetic Physician, Beverly Wilshire, and Dr Anna Hoo, Director, Medical Wellness Sdn Bhd.
